The Guardian May Retire With Approval
(1) In case a Guardian appointed pursuant to this Act desires to retire being unable to discharge his duty, shall submit an application stating the reason thereof to the Children Welfare Officer at least one month in advance. The Guardian shall also have to submit, along with the application, the statement of the property of the Child that he has taken in custody and the expenses incurred up to the date of the application.
(2) If the reason stated in the application submitted pursuant to sub-section (1) is deemed reasonable, the Children Welfare Officer shall cause to handover the property in the custody of the Guardian to any office or person and permit him to retire.
